The Marine Corps Air Transport Association is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the state of Texas. All donations are tax deductible.

The Marine Corps Air Transport Association, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, will dedicate the VMGR Memorial Monument, which is located along the Legacy Walk in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park at the National Museum of the Marine Corps on June 7, 2024.

Museum Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The Devil Dog Diner is a cafeteria style food venue in the museum and is open from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Tun Tavern is open from 11 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and offers bar and food service.

MCATA Representatives will be on site at the VMGR Memorial Monument and at the museum starting at 12:00 p.m.

12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Excellent time for families and guests to stroll the Legacy Walk and visit the VMGR Memorial Monument.

Memorial Dedication Ceremony 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Medal of Honor Theater. (Note: the MOH Theater has a maximum seating capacity. If the number of registrants and guests exceeds the maximum, Gold Star families have first priority for seating inside the theater.)

A Gold Star Families Reception for our honored Gold Star Families, Invited Guests and MCATA Members with private after hours access to the museum will commence shortly after the Dedication Ceremony and last from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

There is no charge to attend this event. We will accept voluntary donations if you want to assist us with the costs associated with the dedication event. MCATA Donations
